Irem'le Nurdan

long time no see! ^.^

this, i was asked to draw by nurdan (right), a friend of mine from university, as a gift for irem (left) who is her closest friend and too from our department, and today's irem's birthday (happy b'day!). drawing this was such an enjoyment for me, because they are so sweet and i like their friendship. also, the reference photo was far cuter than this and was fun to draw.

it was a nice break after all the work, but now must turn to work again. ganbatte ganbatte! >.<

_{the writing says: "wish hapiness to irem and nurdan for all their life" i'm not sure about the english translation but in turkish it quite sounds like a wedding wish. i was joking about their relationship which is pretty much like that of a married couple of 40 years, always quarrelling and such lol}

_{oh, and about the signature. my surname is not şeriati, it's the nickname my classmates call me by, after the iranian sociologist ali shariati. well, i never asked it but i'm glad ^.^--because of it they sometimes forget my surname lol}
